A Seasonal Blend Should Offer More than Just Cute Packaging

During these blustery winter months, the greatest amount of coffee and tea are ingested. This well known fact is often the instigator for special gourmet coffee blends being launched as seasonal items. While the packaging is often adorable, it is rare for the coffee, which is held within, to ever fully impress.

Along with the cute polar bears skating, or exquisite snowflake images, there are also the catchy names given to the holiday creations. Sure they are sometimes thought provoking, but it never elevates the flavour status of the coffee itself. So, I offer this insight, stick to the coffee you know is good until one that is all its packaging claims it to be is proven to be accurate.
